I don’t believe that an employee is going to really gain much by looking through someone’s online profile on sites such as Facebook. I think that what we post on facebook, thought it might be true is not a true reflection of how a person will perform in the work place. A lot of the pictures that are posted are usually from a night out with friends and doesn’t mean that they will not be high performers at the work place. Everyone likes to relax a bit and when one is in university, they like to go out and party and yes there will be pictures that might not be the most flattering however that is really not what that person is really about or what they stand for.
