Why is it that people for centuries believe that war is a good thing and that it accomplishes something? It has only ever caused death and havoc and no good has ever come of war. People only develop hate towards the people they are fighting against and they don’t solve anything. The most ironic thing however is that leaders who want peace, they end up getting assassinated for example Gandhi. He wanted peace between Hindu and Muslim’s and did was a very peaceful way but he got assassinated and the same with Dr. Martin Luther King. He wanted freedom for African Americans from slavery and equality for them. Which in its on way was a peace thing, however he also had the misfortune of being assassinated.
Though if you look at those who think war solves everything, they never get assassinated! Like bush. who has honestly no basis for war, though he continues to wreck his country and creates so much hate for the American people from the world population, and yet he manges to stay alive and in full power!!! Why is it that people who want peace get killed and those who want to bring harm from the effects of war are still standing when they don’t want peace at all? I will never understand the thinking behind such stupidity! Especially when war is started due to the fact that someone is greedy and will go to any lenghts to get what they want and to get the money even if that means killing millions of civilians and ruining cities and countries!
Will people ever learn or will continue being so greedy that they can’t be bothered with anything or anyone? I guess I will never understand that killing someone is okay if I can get what i want out of it.
